Department of Accounting Department of AccountingIt gives me a great pleasure to write a foreword for the revised students’ handbook for the Department of Accountancy which complies with the National Universities Commission (NUC) minimum Academic Standard. The Handbook has been written in such a way that it guides students on the course contents and rules and regulations guiding the award of degree in the Department. I have no doubt that the students now have a guide which would help them in the pursuance of their career in the Department and will sharpen their vision for the future. You will believe me that the Department of Accountancy has a vision to become a world class Department renown for intellectual output in the field of Accounting. I am glad to be associated with the Department and wish all the students’ success in their chosen career.
